Lost in the biggest storm he’d ever seen
His friends long ago
Swallowed by the undertow

Holding onto a block of wood
Sailing the waves
Looking up at a darkened sky
He began to pray

Well then it seems that the one they call the lord
Heard the prayer and pushed the raft back ashore
The sailor wiped all the sand off his knees
And the cabin light caught his eye through the palm trees

So naturally the sailor walked up to the front door
And hope filled the place that was fear just before
He cleared his throat and he knocked three times...
And what he saw blew his mind

Layers And Frames is a Philadelphia based electronic/world/folk duo. The pair is composed of Frederic Brewer (guitar loops, vocals) and Mark Sulik (keyboard, vocals). Frederic began the project in 2011 while he was a Peace Corps volunteer in China.
